Baba ganoush with garlic mustard flowers

  1. Garlic mustard! And I thought I was doing well eating wild garlic flowers :)

    Is it true that if you can eat the leaves of a plant you can eat the flowers?

    My in-laws' rosemary hedge has beautiful blossom at the moment and I'd like to try them.

  2. I think it's alway best to check - can't imagine Rosemary being a problem though! Flower buds are poking out of our chives at the moment; can't wait to get them into a salad pretty sharpish. Honeysuckle flowers taste great too come summer...

  3. Oh, didn't know about honeysuckle! I love chive flowers too - just found out about those last year.

    Am slow on the uptake, but getting there :)
